Every year after your account anniversary date you will also receive a certificate for one free night (category 1-5 property).
We like that you pay no foreign transaction fees and get a free stay every year on your membership anniversary. If you redeem your annual certificate at a higher-end Marriott property (valid up to category 5) the card will pay for itself every year.
