When we’re asked to recommend a single credit card based on the travel awards it provides through signup bonuses and ongoing spending, we usually talk about the Chase Sapphire Preferred and then and perhaps a few others.
That card is great, and the benefits can outweigh the fee—but what if you don’t want any annual fees at all—are there any options? Yes! Now there’s a new option for a fee-free card that still offers legit travel bonuses. Meet the new Wyndham Rewards card from Barclays:
Wyndham Rewards: 12,000 Point Bonus
This brand-new card just launched from Barclays and Wyndham,
a hotel management company that owns the Wyndham, Baymont,
and Radisson brands (among others). It offers a 12,000 point sign-up
bonus with no annual fee.
Wyndham points can be used for free hotel nights (12,000 points
will get you up to two) or can be transferred to your choice of 15+
airline partners.
(Note: there is also a public offer for a Wyndham card that offers
45,000 points with an annual fee for applications before 31 December. If you want this card, choose
the offer that best suits your needs.)
